mike & Rhonda bartolomeo

FOUNDERS AND SENIOR PASTORS

Mike Bartolomeo is the founding and senior pastor of Church for the Harvest.  Since its founding, Church for the Harvest has been actively pursuing the vision of equipping Christians to do the work of the ministry!


Harvest actively reaches out to the Alexandria community as well as supports and leads missions both stateside and abroad.  Mike speaks at conferences locally and internationally.

Family

Mike and Rhonda have three grown children and live in Alexandria, Minnesota where Church for the Harvest began. 

Interests

Together, Mike and Rhonda enjoy traveling, fitness, hiking, and time with family.

Education

Mike and Rhonda both received their AA Degrees from Christ for the Nations Bible School in Dallas, Texas.  Mike completed his Masters of Biblical Studies and his Doctorate of Ministry from the Minnesota Graduate School of Theology. 

Kurtis haider

Worship MINISTRY

Kurtis leads our Worship Ministry (involving sound, lighting, and music) on a weekly basis.  He is passionate about stirring up worship in the hearts of the church and leading others to encounter God through music.  He believes worship through song is one of the most valuable tools God has given us to commune with Him and one another, communicate valuable truths in a memorable way, and fight spiritual battles. 

Family

Kurtis is married to Rebecca and they have two boys at home: Ezra and Griffin.

Interests

Kurtis loves music (obviously) and enjoys finding obscure and unique artists and genres to listen to in his spare time as well as playing acoustic guitar.  When he is not working on his house, he enjoys working out, thrift shopping, or playing board games with friends.

B.A., in Music with emphasis on Vocal Performance from the University of Minnesota, Morris

Kim Boutain

YOUTH MINISTRY

God placed a call on Kim's heart for youth at a young age.  She joined Harvest staff as the Youth Director in 2012.  Kim is so honored to serve, equip, and build lasting relationships with the youth who are searching for truth. 

Family

Kim is married to Joel who also serves with her in Youth Ministry.  Kim and Joel have two children: Brett (married to Amanda) and Morgan (married to Ivan) and three grandchildren: Owen, Emery, and Isla. 

Interests

Kim loves spending time with family, friends, and you.  Some of her favorite things to do are shop, go to concerts (metal or rock), and be outside boating or fishing.

Associates Degree in Nursing from St. Cloud Technical College, 

B.A. and M.A. in Youth Ministry from Minnesota School of Theology

Katy zitzmann

Children's ministry

Katy leads our Children's Ministry (birth to sixth grade).  She is passionate about serving children and families.  She sees children as an active part of the church today and loves encouraging as well as equipping them in their gifts! 

Family

Katy is married to Ryan and they have three kids at home (Asher, Melea, and Canon)!

Interests

Katy loves to be outside and being creative! You'll find her running, hiking, walking, writing, and reading.  She also loves to travel and explore new places.

B.A., Political Science with minors in Biblical Studies and History

M.A., in Marriage and Family Therapy

Angie goergen

Women's ministry & Guest Services

Angie enjoys leading teams who are eager to share the love and hope of Jesus through Women's Ministry and Guest Services at Harvest.  She loves Jesus and God's Word and is passionate about encouraging, challenging, and developing others in their gifts and callings so they can experience all God has for them. She and her husband, Chad, value spiritual growth through faithfully serving and building the local church. They are committed to ongoing service and sharing the gospel of Jesus with others at every opportunity.  

Family

Angie and her husband Chad live in Alexandria and are proud of their three grown children and son-in-law who they believe are simply amazing. They are also excited to soon be grandparents! 

Interests

Angie values healthy relationships, doing life together, and making memories with family and friends.  She enjoys traveling, biking, kayaking, rollerblading, trying new things, and strives to always be learning and growing.

Licensed minister through Christ for the Nations Fellowship of Ministers and Churches since 2007

M.S.N. Nursing Leadership and Management from the University of Mary

julie cottington

Treasurer

Julie  has a background in accounting and has worked in the field for more than thirty years with a variety of organizations: from very large corporations to smaller locally owned businesses and nonprofit entities. 

Family

Julie is married to Jack and they have two sons: Cris and AJ. 

Interests

Julie loves to continue to learn and enjoys participating in the different growth opportunities that Harvest offers to enrich her relationship with the Lord.  Julie also enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as traveling when opportunities arise.

Jeff & Penny ANderson

Pastoral Care Team

Jeff and Penny have been attending Church for the Harvest since the founding.  They have three children and are honored to be a part of Harvest.  They look forward to continuing to serve and help as the church keeps growing with so many wonderful people.

Paul & Lisa Bowden

Paul and Lisa have been members at Harvest since 2011.  They have eight children, four grown and four who are adopted Ukrainian siblings.  Paul and Lisa do pre-marriage counseling, serve in Guest Services, and Paul is on the Teaching Team. 

Jerry & Holly witt

PASTORAL CARE TEAM

Jerry and Holly have been members at Harvest since 2015.  They moved here from Morris where they lived for 40 years.   Their three grown sons and grandchildren have brought them to Alexandria.   They are committed to loving and serving through ministry and leadership in the local church and to the community.  They love the ministry at Harvest and are grateful to serve in multiple areas.
